Pricing
A platform fee, and your cloud bill. Nothing in between.
No credit unit. No DBU equivalent. You see cloud dollars and a platform fee, separately, and where a compute figure is an allocation rather than a measurement we say so and show the split.
Read this before the table. Spark, Flink, StarRocks, Hudi, GCP, Azure, the Analyst Agent and the Repair Agent are not built yet. They appear in the tiers below because that is what each tier will include — not what you can use this month. The build order is public.

The Free tier is DuckDB only
Our published table said DuckDB and Trino. That was wrong, and this is the correction. Several free tenants’ rows would pass through one Trino JVM’s memory, and no amount of policy makes that a story we would want to tell. Free-tier DuckDB runs one pod per query in a sandbox — no shared process, no shared heap.
It also means the cheapest tier is the one whose bill is exactly right: one pod, one query, one pod-hour from the provider’s own cost data. Measured, not allocated.
The 25% management fee is a line on the invoice
On Team, compute is your cloud cost plus 25%, and that 25% appears as its own line. A visible markup on a real number is more trustworthy than an invisible margin inside a credit unit — and it is the whole argument in miniature.
At-rest encryption is free at every tier including Free. Charging for baseline encryption would be indefensible.
Why Hudi is gated to Business
Not to upsell. Hudi’s table services — compaction, clustering, cleaning — carry genuine operational cost, and offering them on a $1,500/month tier would be a support liability. Hudi is not offered to anyone until those services are automated and proven. Choosing Hudi also removes three of five engines from the write path, which the router enforces at table creation rather than letting you discover in production.
Typical annual contract values are $22–36K on Team, $70–120K on Business and $180–450K on Enterprise. We will model your current spend on your own workload before you sign anything, and we do not publish a per-unit comparison against any other vendor — the only number worth having is the one measured on your data.
