This website
There is no analytics script on this site. No Google Analytics, no tag manager, no session recorder, no advertising pixel, no third-party embed. The content security policy would block them, and we have not asked for an exception.
We see aggregate request counts from our hosting provider — pages, countries, referrers — which is server-side and not tied to an individual. The site sets no cookies, so there is no cookie banner to dismiss.
The early-access form
If you submit the form we receive what you typed: your email address, your company, your team size, and whatever you write in the free-text fields. We use it to reply to you and to decide whether a design-partner slot is a fit. We do not add you to a newsletter, run you through a sequence, sell the data, or share it with an advertising network.
Ask us to delete it and we will, without asking why. founders@runninglake.com.
The product
This page covers the website. The product is a different matter with a different agreement: customer data lives in a data plane, in your own cloud account from the Business tier upward, and the control plane holds metadata and orchestration. What crosses that line, and what does not, is described on the security page — including where the boundary is not absolute.
Not yet complete. A full privacy notice needs a named data controller, a registered address, a lawful basis table, retention periods, sub-processor list and a route to a supervisory authority. We are a seed-stage company that has not incorporated those details into a reviewed document yet. Rather than publish a template with invented entries, we have written what is actually true today and will replace this page with a reviewed notice before the product handles anyone else’s data.
